Recent ActivityParents As Teachers Project SKIP is a program for families within the Grand Blanc School District with children who are birth up to kindergarten entry. We provide developmental and nutritional information designed to enhance your parent child relationship, foster kindergarten readiness, and promote health. We provide home visits, yearly screenings, educational group meetings, parent child activities, gym nights, swim nights, and more. We are a grant funded program, supported through the GISD Succesful Kids = Involved Parents (S.K.I.P.) program, so your participation is free of charge.
Our belief is that parents are their children's first and most important teacher.

Take advantage of this vision screening for your children 1-5 years old. It is a simple 5-10 minute process to take a picture of your child's eye with a specialized camera. This film is sent to Children's Hospital and examined by physicians there. The results are mailed to your home. This test detects abnormalities of the eye that may be correctable only while your child is young.9 am - 3 pm Please call (810) 591-6135 to schedule a time. Walk-Ins are welcome. Join other concerned parents from the Perry Center to learn about the Sinking Fund Millage Renewal and find out how you can help. You will receive group meeting credit for attending.Check out www.warmsafedry.com Potty Training Meeting RescheduledWe will have a potty training group meeting on Wednesday, April 14th from 6:30-7:30 pm. If you are planning on attending and would like childcare, please call 591-6135 or email ethemm@grandblancschools.org to reserve a spot for your child.
We will meet in the Paradise Room on the second floor of the Perry Center. Childcare is located in the PAT playroom on the main floor.
